In such a situation, if you are changing your house for any reason, then you should get the address updated on your Aadhaar card as soon as possible so that you do not have to face any problem later. Some documents are required to update any details on Aadhaar card. But, if you are updating your home address, then you can get it updated even without any documents.
How to update address
First of all you have to visit the official portal of UIDAI (myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in/).
After this you will have to go to the login option and enter the Aadhaar number and captcha.
After this fill the OTP received on your registered mobile number.
Now go to the Aadhaar Update section and click on Head of Family (HOF) based Aadhaar Update.
Here you have to enter the Aadhaar number of the head of the family.
After this you will have to pay the update fee.
After paying the updated fee the request will be moved to the head of the family.
As soon as the head of the family approves this request, your Aadhaar card will be updated.

UIDAI has also provided Aadhaar users the facility to update Aadhaar for free. You can update Aadhaar online for free till 14 September 2024. However, you will have to pay a charge to update Aadhaar offline. Let us tell you that a charge of Rs 50 is levied per update.
