
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Sunday visited Mainpuri district, considered a stronghold of the Samajwadi Party, and while addressing a huge public meeting here, inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of 111 development projects worth a total of Rs 682 crore. During this, he also handed over certificates from the stage to 19 beneficiaries of various schemes. The Chief Minister clearly said in his address that today there is rule of law in Uttar Pradesh and the state government is fully committed to the development of every section without any discrimination.
Earlier people were afraid of taking the name of Mainpuri, now they are getting respect
At the beginning of his address, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath paid tribute to the mythological and historical land of Mainpuri. Making a sharp attack on the previous governments, he said that there was a time when people used to get scared on hearing the name of Mainpuri and the youth of this region had to face huge difficulties in even getting hotels or room rent in outside districts. He said that the identity crisis was created by those people who had created fear in the minds of the general public and especially the daughters, but today in the double engine government, be it a businessman or a youth, he gets full respect wherever he goes.
Taunt on SP rule, getting benefits of schemes without discrimination
Taking a direct aim at the SP chief and the opposition parties, CM Yogi said that the earlier Chief Ministers used to wake up at 12 noon, get ready at 2 o’clock, go to the gym at 5 o’clock and start having fun at 7 o’clock. He sarcastically said that earlier when jobs were released, lists were prepared in advance and leaders used to set out with bags to collect money, but today the youth are getting jobs with complete transparency without any bribe or recommendation. He said that Uttar Pradesh has now come out of the category of ‘sick state’ and has made its strong place among the top three economies of the country.
Mainpuri’s Tarkashi gets global recognition, big statement on agriculture and electricity
The Chief Minister said that the government has given a new identity to the traditional Tarkashi art of Mainpuri at the world level. Talking on the issues of farmers, he said that completely free electricity is being provided to the tube wells of the farmers and the direct benefits of the Prime Minister Kisan Samman Nidhi are reaching the farmers. Along with this, while explaining the reason for coming to Mainpuri in the month of July, he said that he has come to see what is the condition of farmers’ crops, electricity and water, so that there is no shortage on any front.
Mention of renovation of temples and Kanwar Yatra
Emphasizing on the development of tourism and culture, CM Yogi said that today the state government is working openly on the development of temples and cultural heritage, whereas earlier government funds were used elsewhere. He said that earlier the Kanwar Yatras were stopped, but after the coming of the double engine government, now the Kanwar Yatra takes place with full pomp and grandeur and no one can stop it. Finally, while mentioning the widening of Shikohabad-Bhogaon road built at a cost of Rs 292 crore, clean drinking water schemes, auditorium and operation of model schools from class 1 to 12, he said that the government is continuously working for the upliftment of the poor, farmers, youth and women.
