Sri Ganganagar, 20 September (HS). Minister of State for Home Jawahar Singh Bedham said that due to being adjacent to the international border, complete monitoring of law and order is being done in Sri Ganganagar. Effective action is being taken continuously against drug abuse. No criminal involved in anti-social activities will be spared.

He was addressing the beneficiary dialogue program held on Friday at Tantia University on Hanumangarh Road in the city. He said that the work of making Rajasthan crime free is going on. He also visited Janseva Hospital and other institutions associated with Tantia University. Earlier, Minister of State Bedham interacted with the beneficiaries of Ayushman Yojana at Janseva Hospital and inquired about the treatment and facilities being provided to them. He said that the institute is conducting programs like Ayushman Bharat and Swachhata Pakhwada very well. He also interacted with the elderly and specially abled people and appreciated the work being done by the institute in various fields. He said that the state government has given instructions to take strict action against people committing organized crime and gangsters. Referring to the paper leak cases, he said that effective action is being taken against the culprits involved in this type of crime. He planted saplings in the institute campus by worshiping and feeding fodder to the cow under the Seva Pakhwada and Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam campaign. On this occasion, many people including Mohit Tantiya of Tantiya Trust, BJP District President Sharanpal Singh, former District President Atmaram Tarad, Ramzan Ali Chopdar, Sandeep Kasnia, Rajkumar Soni were present.

After this, the Minister of State for Home reviewed the law and order situation of the district by holding a meeting in the police line. During this, he gave guidelines to the police officers to reduce crime. He said that concrete and strict action should be taken against the criminals. On this occasion, District Collector Dr. Manju, SP Gaurav Yadav, ASP Raghuveer Sharma, ASP City B. Aditya, CO Rural Anupam Mishra, Srikaranpur CO Sanjeev Chauhan and many others were present.
