Regarding the rain affected areas, Shri Maurya asked the officials to take special vigilance. He directed that the affected areas should be continuously monitored and if waterlogging, damage or other problems arise, immediate action should be taken to ensure solution. Any untoward incident should be immediately reported to higher level officials.
Deputy Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Keshav Prasad Maurya, today, in the ‘Janta Darshan’ organized at the Camp Office, 7 Kalidas Marg, Lucknow, issues related to roads, drains, drainage, drinking water, electricity, housing, ration, pension, revenue, employment and financial assistance came to the fore. The Deputy Chief Minister directed the eligible people to get benefits of schemes related to Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Rural, Chief Minister Awas Yojana-Rural, National Rural Livelihood Mission, Pension, Farmers Welfare, Employment and Self-Employment and Women Empowerment.
Shri Maurya said that the person standing at the back of the queue has to realize that ‘the government is with you’, this is the basic objective of Janata Darshan. He directed the officers to act with sensitivity on the complaints received and ensure timely resolution of each case.
