Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) supremo Arvind Kejriwal on Wednesday once again ruled out the possibility of an alliance with the Congress for the Delhi Assembly elections. Earlier there were reports that both the parties would contest the elections together in Delhi. With this announcement of Kejriwal, more differences have come to the fore in the Bharat alliance.

On social media platform X, Kejriwal has announced that he will contest the assembly elections in Delhi on his own. Former Delhi Chief Minister Kejriwal has said that there is no possibility of alliance with Congress.

Kejriwal has made this announcement at a time when there are reports in the media that both the parties may join hands for the 70-member Delhi Assembly elections to be held in February.

Even earlier this month, Kejriwal had ruled out the possibility of an alliance between AAP and Congress for the Delhi Assembly elections.

Recently, talks of an alliance between these two components of India’s opposition alliance started when the Nyaya Chaupal program organized by the Congress was cancelled. Rahul Gandhi was to participate in this program.

This program was organized on the occasion of Nyaya Yatra taken out across Delhi by the State Congress before the assembly elections.

Apart from this, Kejriwal met NCP (SP) chief Sharad Pawar on Tuesday. This meeting took place at a time when there is a demand to appoint Mamata Banerjee as the head of India Alliance. At present this alliance is being led by Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge.
