Mumbai: ED has told the Bombay High Court that it will not take action on the eviction notice issued to actress Shilpa Shetty and her husband Raj Kundra at this time. He said the decision on the couple's application challenging the attachment order would be awaited. The probe agency had on September 27 issued notices to Shilpa and Kundra in a money laundering case and directed them to vacate their house in Yuhu and a farmhouse in Pune.

Shilpa and Raj Kundra challenged the notice in the High Court, calling it arbitrary, illegal and unnecessary. A bench of Justices Revati Mohite Dere and Prathviraj Chauhan on Wednesday asked the ED why it was so hasty in issuing the eviction notice after the attachment order was passed. Whereas they have a legal way to appeal against the order. ED told the High Court on Thursday that no action will be taken on the notice until the petitioners file an application against the attachment order and the court gives its verdict.
