NLC India Limited (NLC India Limited), a premier Navratna Public Sector Undertaking under the administrative control of the Ministry of Coal, Government of India, has opened up a wonderful career opportunity for the youth. The institute has released the official notification of direct recruitment for 145 executive posts in various grades and wings under advertisement number 11/2026. This recruitment drive is being conducted for the company’s thermal power stations, mines, upcoming projects and corporate human resources (HR) departments. This is a great opportunity for eligible technical and professional candidates from Lucknow, Prayagraj, Kanpur of Uttar Pradesh to Delhi, Tamil Nadu and Rajasthan to enter high paying and permanent government service in Central PSU. The recruitment process is being conducted completely through digital medium and eligible candidates can submit their online application form through the official web portal nlcindia.in.

According to the released notification, various posts ranging from junior management to senior leadership level have been included in this recruitment drive. Selected candidates will be given handsome monthly salary and allowances under 7th Central Pay Commission and IDA pattern:

  • Deputy General Manager (DGM – Mechanical, Electrical, Civil): Grade E-7 | Pay scale ₹1,00,000 to ₹2,60,000

  • Additional Chief Manager (Security): Grade E-6 | Pay scale ₹90,000 to ₹2,40,000

  • Executive Engineer (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, C&I, Environmental, Chemical, Mining, Safety): Grade E-4 | Pay scale ₹70,000 to ₹2,00,000

  • Deputy Manager (Human Resources and Legal): Grade E-3 | Pay scale ₹60,000 to ₹1,80,000

  • Assistant Executive Manager (Scientific): Grade E-2 | Pay scale ₹50,000 to ₹1,60,000

  • Assistant Manager (Security): Grade E-1 | Pay scale ₹40,000 to ₹1,40,000


    Apart from the basic salary, the selected officers will be provided full benefits of Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), Cafeteria Perks, Medical Coverage and PF/Gratuity as per company rules.

Strict eligibility standards have been set keeping in mind the technical and administrative responsibilities of different posts:

  • Engineering Posts (Executive Engineer & DGM): Candidate must have regular BE or B.Tech degree with minimum 60% marks in relevant branch (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Mining, Chemical, Instrumentation, Environmental Engineering) from an AICTE recognized university or institute.

  • Deputy Manager (Legal): Must have passed 3-year or 5-year LLB (Degree in Law) from any recognized university. Also, experience of legal matters in the concerned corporate or legal firm is necessary.

  • Deputy Manager (Human Resources): Two years full time Post Graduate Degree (MSW) or MBA (MBA-HR) in HR, Personnel Management or Industrial Relations is mandatory.

  • Scientific and other cadre: Post Graduation (M.Sc) in the concerned subject and relevant background qualifications for security cadre have been prescribed.


    For senior level posts (E-4 to E-7), prescribed years of experience in the relevant industry (Power Plant, Opencast Mining or Heavy Engineering) is required, details of which can be seen in the detailed advertisement.

Candidates will be selected on the basis of their educational qualification, relevant work experience and performance in personal interview. After primary screening and shortlisting of the applications received, eligible candidates will be invited for personal interview. If required, Computer Based Test (CBT) can also be conducted for junior posts.   7. Make the online payment (Net Banking, Debit Card or UPI) of applicable application fee as per your category.
