Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar Latest News Updates: The Economic Offenses Unit (EOU), which is investigating the case of buying of MLAs during the trust vote of the NDA government in Bihar, has found important clues. Investigation by the Economic Offenses Unit revealed that horse-trading was done to defeat the government during the trust vote. Not only this, illegal money was also arranged for this. On the basis of evidence received by EOU, it has come to light that people sitting in different cities were involved in this buying and selling. Efforts were made to buy Nitish MLAs from Delhi as well as Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand and Nepal. Not only this, many MLAs even took advance money, evidence of which has been found by EOU.

What was the whole planning?

EOU DIG Manavjeet Singh Dhillon says that a big revelation has come to light during the investigation of this case of horse trading. Some people had planned that if the NDA government led by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar loses the trust vote, the MLAs will get a lot of money. All the MLAs who voted against Nitish were posted in other states and given money. However, his plan did not succeed. According to EOU, the brokers had also planned to kidnap the MLAs. An attempt was made to lure him by luring him with money.

What is the whole matter?

It is noteworthy that in February this year, when Nitish Kumar left the Grand Alliance and returned to NDA, he had to get a trust vote in the Assembly. But a day before receiving the trust vote, JDU MLA Sudhanshu Shekhar lodged a complaint at the Kotwali police station. According to the FIR, many JDU MLAs including Sudhanshu were lured and threatened by some people. They were asked to vote against Nitish government.

Who was accused?

Sudhanshu has also written the name of opposition party RJD in this FIR. JDU MLAs allege that they were offered ministerial post with Rs 10 crore. In this matter JDU MLA Dr. Sanjeev was also an accused. After this revelation by the Economic Offenses Unit, JDU MLA Sudhanshu Shekhar again claimed that a big conspiracy is being hatched by the opposition. But they are not successful. The government handed over the investigation of the case to the Economic Offenses Unit. EOU is investigating money trail and hawala in this case. However, ED is also investigating the matter further at its level.
