Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has hoisted the tricolor for the 18th time. In his speech after hoisting the flag, Nitish Kumar attacked the Lalu family by calling them 'beggars'. Along with this, he also mentioned the achievements of his government. He said that what was the budget of Bihar during Lalu-Rabri rule…how much is it now? Compared to 2005, the budget has increased 10 times now.
Expressed gratitude to PM Modi for special package and assistance
CM Nitish Kumar thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for providing special package and assistance from the central government. He attacked Tejashwi and said that he can give any statement. What have they done? Nitish Kumar attacked the Lalu family and asked… have these people done anything? They expanded their house, replaced their wife, their son and daughter kept doing all this. Worked for all religions and castes in Bihar
Nitish Kumar claimed that he has worked for people of all religions and castes. He said, whether Hindu or Muslim, Dalit, Mahadalit, backward or extremely backward or upper caste, work has been done for everyone. The Chief Minister said that a large number of residential schools and hostels are being constructed for the students of Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Extremely Backward Classes. At present, 91 residential schools are running for the students of Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe. The state government has decided to build new residential schools in 40 blocks with more than 50 thousand Scheduled Caste population, out of which 20 residential schools are under construction.
Construction of residential schools
The Chief Minister further said that all the residential schools will be constructed by next year. He said that Jannayak Karpuri hostels have been constructed for the backward classes in all the districts. It has been decided to establish girls' residential schools for backward and extremely backward classes in all the districts. Girls' residential schools are running in 11 districts, construction work of new girls' residential schools is going on in 27 districts, he claimed that the boys and girls of all these categories are being given the benefit of Civil Service Promotion, Gram Parivahan Yojana and Udyamita Yojana.
Government recognition to madrassas
Bihar CM further said that the government has done a lot for the Muslim community since 2005. Schemes like student incentives, scholarships, free coaching etc. are being run for the youth of this class. Madrasas have been given government recognition and madrasa teachers are being given salary equal to government teachers. Fencing of graveyards started in 2006. Earlier, more than 8 thousand graveyards were fenced, later 1273 more graveyards were identified, out of which fencing of 746 graveyards has been completed and fencing of 151 graveyards is in the final stage and fencing of 376 graveyards is going on. There is an atmosphere of love, brotherhood and peace in the state. The Chief Minister claimed that the state government is taking care of all religions including Hindus, Muslims, Sikhs, Christians, Buddhists and Jains and important places related to their faith have been beautified and facilities have been developed for the people here.
12 lakh government jobs instead of 10 lakh
The Chief Minister said that some people came with me in the middle. Now the same people keep talking about this and that. Nitish said that the appointment process for 2 lakh posts has been completed. Before the elections this year, 12 lakh government jobs will be given to the youth instead of 10 lakh. Nitish said that we had said that we will give 10 lakh jobs in 2022, now we have increased it to 12 lakh. Not only this, people will be given employment, 10 lakh people were also told about employment, as far as employment is concerned, in the last 4 years 24 lakh people have been given employment in various sectors. This year and next year before the 2025 elections, the target is to provide 10 lakh more jobs. In this way, there will be 34 lakh jobs instead of 10 lakh and 12 lakh jobs instead of 10 lakh.
