According to the report, per capita monthly expenditure in villages was Rs 1430 in 2011-12, which has increased by 164 percent to Rs 3773 in 2022-23. Per capita expenditure among households in urban areas increased by 146 per cent from Rs 2,630 in 2011-12 to Rs 6,459 in 2022-23. He said, if we compare the figures of inflation and poverty, it will become clear that poverty is coming under control. Economists will soon release a detailed analysis on this.
