Nine kilos of hashish recovered, four people including three women arrested

Rajpura: Police station Sadar Rajpura has succeeded in arresting three women and one man along with 9 kg of charas.

Sadar police station SHO Gursevak Singh said that the police party had cordoned off AGM Resort Ba Haddad village Basantpura on the national highway. Meanwhile, when a bus coming from Rajpura slowed down due to the barricade behind the gate, two women with bags in their hands got down from the bus and started walking back on the service road. When the police party stopped and searched on the basis of suspicion, 4 kg of hashish was recovered from them. The women were identified as Kusum Devi, resident of Nayak Tola, District Pucharia (Bihar) and Guniya Devi, resident of Monsi Bazar, Mothari (Bihar).

In the second case, Sadar police station has recovered 5 kg of hashish from a man and a woman. The arrested person has been identified as Ram Geya, resident of village Dhabtola, Ranjita police station, Harsidi district, East Champaran, Motihari (Bihar) and the woman has been identified as Ranju Kumari, resident of Ward No. 3, village Malahitola, Mehsaida police station, Gopalpur district, Naugachia (Bihar).
