New Delhi: After Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Stalin has also appealed to the people to produce more children. CM Stalin has said that the time has come for the newly married couple to have 16 children.
Stalin made this statement during an event organized by the Hindu Religious and Settlement Board in Chennai. In this program, 31 couples got married in the presence of Stalin.
He said perhaps now is the time for couples to have 16 children instead of 16 types of property. Stalin praised Human Resource Development and Social Justice Minister Shekhar Babu, claiming that true devotees appreciate the efforts of the DMK government to improve the maintenance and resources of temples.
He said that those who use Bhakti as Mahora are upset and are filing cases to stop the success of the DMK government.
He said that our population is decreasing which will affect our Lok Sabha seats also. So why don't we have 16 children each?
He claimed that earlier the elders used to bless the newly married couple to get 16 types of property. However, maybe now is the time to have 16 children instead of 16 types of property.
