Nigam Nagar's initiative to save the plants on road dividers from drying up

Varanasi, 26 April (HS). To enhance the beauty of Varanasi city and to protect the environment, Municipal Commissioner Akshat Verma has paid special attention to protect the plants and flowers planted in road dividers and public parks from the scorching sun and heat.

On the instructions of the Municipal Commissioner, during the global event G-20, water is being sprinkled through sprinkler machines on the flowerpots installed in the city, trees on dividers, intersections and flowers and leaves in parks.

This work is also being monitored under the leadership of Joint Municipal Commissioner Krishna Chandra. So that the trees are not allowed to dry up due to extreme heat and sunlight. On Friday, Municipal Corporation workers irrigated areas through sprinkler machines in Bhojubeer, Sant Atulanand Gilat Bazar Tiraha, Lahurabir Square, Teliabagh, Taj Hotel, Kachari, Sigra, Maldahiya etc. Joint Municipal Commissioner said that this action is being taken continuously by the Municipal Corporation.
