Funds again see broad rally in small cap, mid cap stocks: 2981 stocks closed positive
The market breadth turned more positive as Sensex, Nifty based small, mid-cap stocks continued to rise. Out of total 3945 stocks traded on BSE, number of gainers increased from 2597 to 2981 and number of losers decreased from 1221 to 878. FPIs/FIIs made net sales of Rs. 6867 crore in shares: DIIs made net purchases of Rs. 3718 crore
Foreign Portfolio Investors – FPIs, FIIs made a net sale of shares worth Rs 6867.72 crore in cash today on Thursday. A total of Rs 20,837.23 crore was sold as against a total purchase of Rs 13,969.51 crore. While DIIs-Domestic Institutional Investors made a net purchase of Rs 3718.38 crore in cash today. A total of Rs 13,311.92 crore was sold as against a total purchase of Rs 17,030.30 crore.
Investors' asset-market capitalisation increased by Rs 7.83 lakh crore to Rs 415.89 lakh crore.
