News India Live, Digital Desk: To root out the ecosystem of terrorist groups operating in Jammu and Kashmir, NIA has started a search operation at several locations in the valley since this morning. this action Srinagar, Baramulla and Bandipora Investigations are being done at the homes and hideouts of the suspects in the districts. According to sources, the raid is in connection with an old case related to newly recruited overground workers (OGWs) and cross-border terror funding.

Key Highlights of Operation

This action of NIA is being taken on the basis of inputs about some targeted killings and terrorist conspiracies that have taken place in recent months:

Digital Proof: Mobile phones, laptops, SIM cards and other electronic gadgets of the suspects have been seized during the raid.

Suspicious Financial Transactions: Houses of some people have been searched whose bank accounts are suspected to have money coming from dubious sources.

Arms smuggling: The suspects who helped in delivering the arms consignment being sent through drones from across the border are also being identified.
