National High Speed Rail Corporation Limited (NHSRCL) has started the direct recruitment process for the posts of Technician in various technical trades.
NHSRCL is recruiting eligible candidates for a total of 237 Technician posts through this special recruitment drive. NHSRCL Recruitment 2026: Vacancy Details
The main objective of this recruitment drive is to fill the vacant posts in critical departments like Civil, Electrical, Rolling Stock and Signaling for the operation of Mumbai-Ahmedabad High-Speed Rail (MAHSR) Project. The details of the posts are as follows:

Who can apply? Know educational qualification and age limit
To join this technical recruitment, it is mandatory for the candidates to have specific qualification and work experience:
1. Educational Qualification
The applicant must have any one of the three qualifications given below:

Matriculation/SSLC (10th) in relevant technical trade from a recognized board. ITI certificate.

Matriculation/SSLC with National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) in relevant trade.

In related engineering discipline 3 year diploma.
2. Mandatory Work Experience
Candidates should have experience in the Operations and Maintenance (O&M) department of Indian Railways, Government Railways, various Metro Rail (like DMRC, NMRC etc.) or Regional Rapid Transit System (RRTS). Minimum 2 years work experience It is mandatory to have. A valid experience or competency certificate will have to be produced at the time of verification.

3. Age Limit
Maximum age limit of applicants for this recruitment 35 years It has been determined. Candidates belonging to reserved categories will be given age relaxation as per government rules.
Selection Process: These 3 stages have to be passed
To be finally selected for the post of Technician in NHSRCL, candidates will have to go through a transparent three-tier selection process:
1.Computer Based Test (CBT):Step 1.
All valid applicants will first have to appear for an Online Computer-Based Test (CBT). In this, questions related to trade and technical knowledge will be asked.
2.Document Verification:Step 2.
Shortlisted candidates who qualify the CBT examination will have to get their original educational and 2 years Railway/Metro work experience certificates verified.
3.Medical Examination:step 3.
Considering the safety standards of the high-speed rail project, there will be a strict medical test at the end, which is mandatory to pass.
