On the call of NHM Employees Joint Front, a demonstration was held from Civil Hospital to Old Bus Station on Wednesday and anger was expressed by burning copies of the pay-fixation letter. Before the demonstration, the strike of NHM employees continued for the sixth day on Wednesday.
The protest was chaired by staff nurse Sheetal while the stage was managed by Kamlesh. During this, NHM workers staged a protest outside the CMO office and raised slogans against the government. Addressing the protest, staff nurse Sheetal said that NHM employees have been serving in the health department for the last several years. Despite this, the government is not paying any attention to their demands. She said that all the services running under NHM have been completely stopped in protest against the government's negligence. She warned the government that if the government does not fulfill the demands of the employees in time, the movement will be intensified. On this occasion, many employees including Gaurav Sehgal, Ashwini, Sunita, Reena, Joginder, Kulbir, Ramesh, Sunil Saini, Subhash Kandela, Seema Narwana were present.
