New Delhi: Paytm Payment Bank has been banned after the action of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI). After the ban on Paytm Payments Bank (PPBL), the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has removed PPBL from the list of banks providing FASTag service.
After this NHAI has updated the list of banks and non-banking financial companies providing FASTag service. If you also use Paytm Fastag then you have a chance. You can port or deactivate Fastag.

Many users are still using Paytm Fastag. In such a situation, users can get refund of security money from the company before March 15. For refund they will have to contact Paytm Fastag customer care number.
The user will have to choose the option to remove FASTag i.e. deactivate it. After the request, the user will receive a link in a text message. Click on this link. Now they have to select their car number and remove FASTag from the windscreen of the car.
The process of removing Fastag from the windscreen of the car is called Fastag Off. After this the user will have to upload this photo on Paytm app. In this way the Fastag will be removed and the user will get the Fastag security amount back.
