Firozabad, 29 July (HS) A newly married woman died under suspicious circumstances on Sunday night in Ramgarh police station area. The deceased woman was married just fourteen days ago. Her parents have accused her in-laws of murder. Along with the post-mortem on Monday, the police registered a case and started investigating the case.
Udayveer, a resident of Bisauli village in the Bichhwan police station area of Mainpuri district, married his daughter Anamika (24) to Atul, son of Ramesh, a resident of Bhikanpur in the Ramgarh police station area of Firozabad, on July 14. On Sunday night, Anamika's in-laws brought her to the district hospital. Here she died during treatment at midnight. There were marks on her neck. The police informed her parents at night itself. When family members from Mainpuri reached the district hospital on Monday, the in-laws fled. Her parents have accused the in-laws of murder for additional dowry. The police have registered a case against 6 people including the husband after taking a complaint. The police is investigating the matter. The police have conducted the post-mortem of the body.
Additional Superintendent of Police City Sarvesh Kumar Mishra says that a married woman has died under suspicious circumstances. This was reported by the deceased's father.
