Bihar Train News: There is no room in all trains between Patna and Delhi during Diwali and Chhath. In such a situation, for the first time, Railways has tried to provide relief to the passengers struggling to get tickets by releasing the schedule of Vande Bharat Special train between Patna and Delhi.
The train will travel from Delhi to Patna in about 11 and a half hours. However, passengers will have to complete the journey from Delhi to Patna sitting only, because the train running as a special train will not be sleeper Vande Bharat. Sleeper Vande Bharat is currently in the trial phase and it is expected that after the completion of the trial, that train will be made regular in place of this special Vande Bharat.
The Railway Ministry has issued a letter to the Railway Board to run the Delhi-Patna Vande Bharat Express train as a special train on a trial basis, stopping at Arrah and Buxar Junction. This train will leave from Delhi on 30th October and 1st, 3rd and 6th November and after 31st October, it will leave from Patna for Delhi on 2nd, 4th and 7th November. In between, this train has been given stops at Arrah, Buxar, DDU, Prayagraj and Kanpur.

This train will depart from New Delhi at around 8:25 am, stopping at Kanpur, Prayagraj, DDU Buxar, reaching Ara Junction at 7:10 pm and will complete its journey at Patna at 8 pm. At the same time, it will depart from Patna at 7:30 am and reach Ara Junction at 8:7 am and Delhi at 7 pm.
During Diwali and Chhath, Railways has announced many special trains for people traveling to and from Bihar including Arrah. To control crowd in trains during Diwali-Chhath, 283 festival special trains are being run from different routes. The Railway Ministry has announced to run special Vande Bharat trains to provide relief to the people traveling to and from Bihar including Arrah.
