Atal Vishwa Manch will be formed soon: Jayant Sinha

According to sources, on Sunday evening, during a meeting with supporters in Hazaribagh, he discussed the proposal to form a new party. Before leaving for Delhi on Monday, Jayant Sinha said that the final decision on the formation of Atal Bihari Manch will be taken after consultation with various sections of the society.

Discussion on the proposal in the meeting

The meeting held on Sunday was led by former BJP member Surendra Kumar Sinha. He has been a representative of former BJP MP Jayant Sinha (MP). Supporters of both Jayant and his father Yathwant Sinha were present in the meeting. The proposal to form a new party was discussed in this meeting.

Yashwant Sinha, who was a cabinet minister in the Atal Bihari Vajpayee government, won the Hazaribagh Lok Sabha seat in 1998, 1999 and 2009. In the 2004 elections, he lost to BHP (Communist Party of India) candidate Bhuvaneshwar Mehta. In the 2014 Lok Sabha elections, Yashwant Sinha's elder son Jayant Singh of the BJP got the ticket from Hazaribagh seat. However, in the current Lok Sabha elections, Manish Jaiswal got the ticket instead of Jayant Sinha. Jaiswal won by 2.76 lakh votes.
