New rules made regarding Ramadan in Saudi Arabia, ban on Iftar inside the mosque

Since the holy month of Ramzan is about to begin next month, this month has been given special importance in Islam. Preparations for Ramzan have started across the world. Saudi Arabia has announced new guidelines for Ramadan. In which some restrictions have been imposed on Iftar in mosques. Most mosques organize Iftar (evening meal and drinks) for travelers and poor people to break the fast during Ramadan. Before Ramadan, the Saudi Ministry of Islamic Affairs makes many preparations. Yes, this ban is also a part of these preparations. The order issued by the ministry states that Iftar during Ramadan should not be organized inside mosques to keep it clean. Instead, Iftar should be held at a designated place or in the courtyard of the mosque. Apart from this, several other restrictions have also been imposed, such as banning the use of cameras inside mosques and preventing the media from live telecasting the Imam's speech.

To keep the statement brief

Imams of mosques have been instructed to keep their statements brief during the special 'Tarweeh' prayers held during Ramzan. Apart from this, in the statements (Sahna) given in the mosque, only things beneficial for the fasting people are told. It has also been said that there should be a gap of at least 10 minutes between Namaz and Azaan, which will be performed immediately after Iftar.
