New reservation in Agniveer recruitment! 10% reservation of posts for them in CISF and BSF, physical and age relaxation too

There is a new reservation rule in fire fighter recruitment. It is being implemented in the Central Security Forces. 10% reservation will be applicable in fire fighter recruitment in Border Security Force i.e. BSF and Central Industrial Security Force i.e. CISF. According to this, 10 percent of all the posts of firemen in BSF and CISF will be reserved for former firemen.

Although this decision was taken by the Union Home Ministry last year itself, now BSF and CISF have prepared their plan. On Thursday, July 11, CISF and BSF chiefs have announced that in future 10% reservation in constable posts will be for former firefighters.

There will be relaxation in Agniveer age limit and physical

Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) chief Neena Singh said, 'The Union Home Ministry has taken an important decision regarding the recruitment of former firefighters. CISF is also preparing a recruitment process for former firefighters. She said that former firemen will also be given relaxation in the firefighter physical test and age limit will also be relaxed. In the first year, the firefighter age limit will be relaxed by 5 years. Whereas in the subsequent years it will be reduced to three years. This will also benefit CISF. Because the force will get trained and disciplined soldiers.

Meanwhile, Border Security Force (BSF) Director General Nitin Agarwal said, “They have four years of experience. They are fully disciplined and trained youth. This is very good for the BSF because we are getting trained soldiers.” After a short training period, they will be deployed on the border.

Aggarwal stressed that the recruitment of former fire personnel will benefit all security forces. “We are hoping to deploy them after giving them conversion training,” he said. 10 per cent of the total vacancies will be reserved for them. Age relaxation will be given.
