
Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YIDA) is working on another big project to give a new and high-speed pace to the infrastructure of Uttar Pradesh. To further improve the accessibility of Noida International Airport (Jewar Airport) located in Jewar, the work of purchasing land for the proposed new Link Expressway is progressing very fast.
According to the official data of the authority, so far the acquisition of about 57 percent land for this important project has been successfully completed. According to top officials of YIDA, the remaining land will also be purchased within the next one month through mutual consent and legal procedures. The Uttar Pradesh government has already approved a budget of Rs 1,204 crore for this initial land acquisition, while the entire grand project will be completed at a total cost of approximately Rs 4,000 crore.

Beginning and end: This important link expressway will start from Siana area of Bulandshahr and end at Yamuna Expressway. 24.8 kilometer point (distance from zero point).

Yida area and elevated part: About 20 kilometers of this entire route will pass through the notified area of YEIDA, out of which 9 kilometer stretch completely elevated (Elevated Road) Will be made.

Service Roads and Number of Villages: To run the local traffic smoothly, a wide service road will also be built along with the expressway, so that the local villagers do not face any problem in movement. This entire expressway total 56 villages Will pass through the boundaries of.

Multimodal Connectivity: This new route will provide excellent direct and uninterrupted connectivity between Noida International Airport, Ganga Expressway, Delhi-Mumbai Expressway and Agra-Greater Noida Expressway.

Benefits to industrial sectors: Major industrial sectors of Yamuna City (like Sectors 28, 29, 32 and 33) will get direct connectivity. This will make the movement of goods cargo and heavy commercial vehicles superfast, which will provide huge logistics support to business activities and industries.

First phase of Jewar Airport completed, operations started
This web of connectivity is also being intensified because the first phase (Phase 1) of Noida International Airport has been completely completed and flight operations have also started from here.
Presently this airport is functioning at its full capacity and annually 1.2 crore passengers Is fully capable of providing world class services. Keeping in mind the increasing needs of the future, this airport will be further expanded and made bigger in a total of four major phases.
UPEIDA will take charge of the construction
This new link expressway will not only increase the utility and accessibility of the operational Jewar Airport manifold, but will also give a global identity to the overall infrastructure of Uttar Pradesh. Immediately after completion of 100% land acquisition by YIDA, Uttar Pradesh Expressway Industrial Development Authority (UPEIDA) will be handed over the command of the physical construction work of this project, which will start its construction work on war footing.
