National Conference can emerge as the largest party in Jammu and Kashmir
Most of the exit polls released on Saturday said that National Conference can emerge as the largest party in Jammu and Kashmir. PDP had won 28 seats in the elections held 10 years ago.
Farooq Abdullah refuses alliance with BJP
National Conference President Farooq Abdullah said on Saturday, 'Our party will not form any alliance with BJP to form the government. We will not go with BJP. The votes we got in the elections are against BJP. They have harassed Muslims, bulldozed their shops, houses, mosques and schools. Do you think we'll go with them?'
Farooq Abdullah further said, 'BJP did not represent a single Muslim during the Lok Sabha elections and there is not a single Muslim minister in the Union Cabinet. I believe that our people will not vote for BJP. If they think they will form the government, they are in a fantasy world.
