Katihar, 06 September (HS). The District Officer chaired a review meeting of the works related to Jeevika in the Collectorate on Friday. In the meeting, the District Officer expressed satisfaction towards the work being done by Jeevika sisters and gave necessary guidelines.
In the meeting, the District Officer said that the products made by Jeevika didis should be marketed properly so that their products can get a fair price in the market. He directed to involve Jeevika didis in Ayushman card making so that more and more people can get the benefit of Ayushman card. Apart from this, the District Officer directed to cooperate with the Health Department to improve the quality of “Jeevika Didi's Kitchen”. He said that the quality of the kitchen run by Jeevika didis should be improved so that people can get healthy and nutritious food.
The District Officer gave several important instructions to support Jeevika sisters and promote their work. He said that the work of Jeevika sisters will promote development and empowerment in the district.
District Program Officer MNREGA, District Project Manager and other officers were present in the meeting. The District Officer assured to take necessary steps to promote the work of Jeevika Didi. This meeting will give new direction and energy to Jeevika Didi in their work. By following the instructions of the District Officer, Jeevika Didi will make their work even better.
