Chhindwara: Corporal Vicky Pahere of Chhindwara district of Madhya Pradesh was martyred in the terrorist attack in Poonch, Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday evening. He was to come home on May 7 to celebrate his son's birthday. Vicky Pahade of Chhindwara was working in the Air Force and was martyred in the terrorist attack on soldiers on Saturday evening.
According to news agency IANS, it is reported that Vicky had joined the Air Force in 2011. His family consists of mother, wife and 5 year old son, his father has passed away. Vicky was a resident of Nonia-Karbal village of Chhindwara district.
On his martyrdom, former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Kamal Nath said in a post on social media, “Chhindwara district's son Vicky Pahere was also involved in the terrorist attack on the Air Force convoy in Surankote area of Poonch district yesterday.” “Become martyred”

Corporal Pahere visited his family last month to attend his sister's wedding and joined the unit on 18 April. Corporal Pahere (33) joined the Indian Air Force in 2011. His family consists of his five-year-old son, wife, mother and three sisters.
Let us tell you that on Saturday, terrorists attacked an Indian Air Force (IAF) convoy in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir, in which Vicky Pahar was killed, while 4 other soldiers were injured.
“The convoy has been secured and further investigation is underway,” the Indian Air Force said in a post.
