New Delhi, Kathmandu: Incredibly, Nepal Prime Minister K.P. Oli, who was once a staunch opponent of India and became a friend of China, has suddenly turned pro-India.

On the one hand, anti-India spies in Pakistan and China are indirectly opposing India by spreading discontent and riots by students in Bangladesh. Oli asked officials of his 'Physical Infrastructure and Transport' ministry to deepen ties with India, develop waterways and railway lines in that regard and said that a map will be prepared for close connectivity with India and a draft will be prepared for the development of waterways from Hanumannagar to Triveni and Devghat on the border with India.

He said, 'Actually, the law allowing this scheme was made in 1970, but it is very unfortunate that the infrastructure has not been built yet.'

For this we should first establish an export office port and customs office there. Now there is Janakpur-Kurtha railway line in Nepal. It should be connected to the railway line from Guwahati (Assam) to Siliguri, which will essentially extend westwards to Delhi.

Nepal's land is very rough and rocky. Therefore, it was first thought to build a railway from India to Nepal through an underground route, but considering that the cost would be very high, it was decided to lay that line on huge pillars. Yet Oli gave clarification.

Oli is keen to deepen connectivity between Nepal and India. Observers say Oli, once a fan of China, has no choice but to deepen his friendship with India, which could weaken the terms of Chinese aid.

On the other hand, Oli, who was once a communist ideologue, has now been 'burnt' by China by claiming that China wants to occupy villages located very close to the Himalayas in Nepal because these villages belong to us (Tibetans). On the other hand, India has selflessly played the role of a friendly and supportive big brother not only for Nepal but also for other neighbouring countries, a fact that may not have gone unnoticed by Oli. So KP observers clearly believe that Oli is aware of both these things and is now once again engaged in improving relations with India.
