With the news of Ravi's arrest, hundreds of party workers reached the party headquarters and raised slogans in protest. Arrested from the party headquarters, he is being taken to Pokhara, where he will be produced in the district court on Sunday.
An arrest warrant was issued against Rashtriya Swatantra Party President and former Home Minister Ravi Lamichhane after he was found guilty in the cooperative scam. The Central Investigation Department (CIB) arrested Ravi Lamichhane from the party headquarters in Kathmandu on Friday evening. The supporters who reached the party headquarters after receiving the news of Ravi's arrest raised slogans in protest. Due to this, the police had to struggle a lot to take Lamichhane out of the party headquarters. CIB SP himself had arrived to arrest Ravi. After this they are being taken to Pokhara by road only.
