Nepal asks India for new air routes for Pokhara and Bhairahawa airports | News India


Kathmandu, September 12 (HS). Nepal has demanded new air routes from India to operate flights from its two new airports. A minister of the Nepal government, who was on a visit to India, met Indian Civil Aviation Minister R Naidu on Thursday and requested India for the air route.

Nepal's Civil Aviation Minister Badri Pandey met India's Civil Aviation Minister R Naidu in his office in New Delhi today. During this, the Nepal minister has sought help from India to operate flights from two new airports. He said that operating the two new international airports built in Pokhara and Bhairahawa is impossible without India's help. Regarding this meeting, Badri Pandey said that if new air routes are made available by India, then the Pokhara and Bhairahawa airports can start operating.
