Nefarious conspiracy to grab land in Arunachal and false propaganda of Global Times

Amidst the tension on the Line of Actual Control i.e. LAC between India and China, an extremely vicious and double character of the Dragon has once again been exposed before the world. On one hand, while the Chinese People’s Liberation Army i.e. PLA is engaged in the nefarious game of quietly establishing illegal settlements near the Indian border with Arunachal Pradesh, creating forward military bases and grabbing land by laying a network of strategic infrastructure, on the other hand, China’s official and propaganda newspaper ‘Global Times’ is pretending to be the messiah of peace in front of the world. The main objective of these hypocritical articles and editorials of the Chinese media is to throw dust in the eyes of the international community and to cover up its expansionist aggression. But this move of China is no longer a new thing for the Indian Defense Ministry, security agencies and diplomatic experts, because they understand very well the huge difference between Dragon’s words and actions and are fully prepared to deal with every challenge.

China’s ‘salami slicing’ policy on Arunachal border and the dreadful game of settling villages

It has always been China’s nature to gradually encroach on the land of neighboring countries without fighting any major war, which in the language of diplomacy is called ‘salami slicing’. The large-scale construction of 628 strategic villages by China on behalf of Tibet in the last few years in the border areas of Arunachal Pradesh and the resettlement of civilians in them is a direct threat to India’s sovereignty. These so-called ‘well-off villages’ are likely to be used as forward military shelters and logistics depots in the future. On the one hand, China is doing such illegal construction right at the border to change its demographic and geographical position, and on the other hand, its official newspapers are trumpeting that Beijing wants peaceful co-existence and economic cooperation with neighboring countries. This hypocrisy of the dragon is the biggest proof of its double mentality.

Psychological propaganda to mislead the global community through Global Times

This new pretense of the Global Times, the main paper of the Chinese Communist Party, is actually part of a deliberate psychological warfare policy. Whenever there is an outcry at the international level over China’s aggressive policies, the Taiwan issue or the border dispute with India, the Chinese propaganda machinery becomes active. Such articles are published in newspapers in which attempts are made to prove that China is the biggest supporter of regional stability and wants to maintain peace in Asia. But the ground reality is completely opposite. If a country that has built radar stations, advanced communication networks, military bases and paved roads near the LAC suddenly pretends to be a peacemaker, then no sensible country in the world can trust it. India has always clarified in blunt terms that such false media stunts and propaganda have no meaning until complete peace and status quo is restored on the border.

India’s unwavering strategic preparedness and the maze of impenetrable security on the north-eastern border.

Today’s modern and powerful India is not going to fall for this psychological and media deception of China. New Delhi has strengthened its military capabilities, infrastructure and strategic preparedness in Arunachal Pradesh and the entire North-East region to give a prompt and befitting reply to any Chinese misadventure. The Border Roads Organization or BRO has laid a network of all-weather roads, strategic bridges and tunnels in inaccessible hills, valleys and high altitude areas. Now Indian Army soldiers and tanks can reach forward locations in a very short time in case of any emergency. This aggressive and cautious defense policy of India has ruined all the dreams of China with the help of which it tries to put pressure on Indian soil on the basis of propaganda. The government has made it clear that no outside force will be allowed to capture even an inch of the country’s land.

The harsh reality of regional stability and future diplomatic challenges

Analysts around the world are keeping a close eye on the direction in which this double game of China on the Arunachal border will take the geopolitics of South Asia in the coming times. On one hand, Chinese officials and media make false promises of peace, and on the other hand, their military commanders plot to open new fronts on the border. India, on the basis of its independent and strong foreign policy, has proved that it is fully capable of giving a tough competition to the Dragon at every step, both on the diplomatic and military fronts. This big-hearted pretense of Global Times has been completely rejected by the conscious citizens and policy makers of India. It has become clear that unless China gives up its expansionist mentality and old habits of land grabbing, no one will believe any of its propaganda plays and India will remain steadfast in protecting its sovereignty.
