The National Testing Agency (NTA) has declared the results of NEET UG 2026, the country’s biggest entrance exam conducted for admission to medical courses (MBBS, BDS, AYUSH). After the examination which was held again this year on June 21, 2026, NTA has completely cleared the way for counseling and admission by releasing the result in record time.
This year, about 20 lakh students from across the country had participated in this difficult examination, out of which 11.21 lakh candidates have achieved success. This time the results have been dominated by the states of North and Central India, in which promising candidates from 8 states including Punjab, Haryana and Rajasthan have won the top 17 ranks.

NTA has clarified that the results have been declared on time by making some major technical and administrative changes in the result process (like running different stages in parallel and keeping OMR objections separate from the answer keys) so that the entire academic session of the students is not affected.
