NEET Registration Date Extended: Last date of NEET registration extended, now exam will be held on this date

NEET UG Registration 2024: The last date of registration for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Undergraduate i.e. NEET UG 2024 has been extended. If you were not able to register for this exam, you can apply now till 16th March. Earlier the last date of application was 9 March.

Exam will be held on this day

NEET UG 2023 exam is scheduled to be conducted on 7th May 2023. The examination will be conducted in one shift from 2 pm to 5:20 pm at the examination centres.

The color of the paper will be decided on the basis of language

This year NTA has changed the color of the paper according to the language. Students of English and Hindi will get white paper. The paper of regional languages ​​will be yellow. Urdu question paper will be green.

What is NEET exam?

The full name of NEET is National Eligibility cum Entrance Test. This National Eligibility Entrance Test is conducted by NTA. NEET is a type of All India Pre-Medical Test (AIPMT). It is the entrance examination for MBBS and BDS degrees in Indian medical and dental institutes. It is conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA). Only after passing this examination you get admission in any MBBS college. NEET UG is the biggest entrance exam in India. It is conducted for admission to undergraduate medical courses in government, private and all other medical colleges across the country.

This time some changes have been made in the examination. According to which, apart from their chosen language, students will also get question paper in English.

What is the exam pattern?

The examination will be computer based. There will be 200 multiple choice based questions from Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Each subject will be divided into two sections, Section A and Section B. Section A contains 35 questions, while Section B contains 15 questions. While Section A contains 35 questions, Section B contains 15 questions. While in Section A all 35 questions can be attempted, in Section B an option to attempt 10 out of 15 questions will be given.

The exam will be held in 13 languages

The paper will be in 13 languages. These include English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Oriya, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu.

NEET-UG Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS), Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS), Bachelor of Ayurveda, Medicine and Surgery (BAMS), Bachelor of Siddha Medicine and Surgery (BSMS), Bachelor of Unani Medicine and Surgery ( BUMS), and Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery (BHMS) and B.Sc(H) Nursing courses.
