NEET paper leak case accused sent to CBI custody till 6th

The accused arrested in the NEET paper leak case have been given in CBI custody till 6th. The CBI team had filed an application in the court for the custody of the accused found in the paper leak. This shameful decision has been given in the hearing on this.

In the NEET paper leak case, the CBI team had applied for the custody of the accused in the court of Chief Judicial Magistrate of Latur. The court has accepted this application and ordered that instead of taking the custody of the accused and seizing all the investigation documents, Maharashtra The police should be handed over to the CBI. Under this, all the documents were examined the whole day yesterday. The documents examined by the police have been classified and the custody has now been handed over to the CBI.

What happened in the court today?

The CBI team had applied in the district court for the custody of the accused. While hearing the case, the court said that the custody of two accused Jalil Pathan and Sanjay Jadhav, who are in the custody of Latur police in this case, should be handed over to the CBI. For this, the CBI team was present in the court from afternoon till evening.

According to CBI officials, the case is nationwide and some people are still absconding. Financial transactions have been made with many people from his mobile phone, which is yet to be verified. Both the arrested accused have made some financial transactions in their and other relatives' names. It is necessary to collect all the information. Therefore, CBI officials have requested that the custody of these accused be handed over to the CBI.

Government lawyer Mangesh Mahendrakar said that considering the seriousness of the case, a big network is involved in it. Also, such a pattern has been seen not only in the NEET paper but also in other papers to some extent. Since it needs to be investigated, the accused should be given CBI custody.

The accused do not need custody- lawyers argue

Balwant Jadhav, the lawyer of Sanjay Jadhav, the accused arrested in this case, clarified that the accused Sanjay Jadhav has no connection with the NEET examination system anywhere. He is a teacher in the Zilla Parishad Primary School. Just because some admit cards have been found in his mobile or he has been found making financial transactions, it is not clear that he has compromised the NEET examination system.
The important part in this case is mobile. Mobile data is the medium. In the last seven days, the police have seized the mobile phones of the accused and also sealed their bank accounts. Documents of the house and office have been sealed. While this is the case, the CBI should continue the investigation, but the accused should not be sent to custody. Such was the argument

Shrikant Borade, the lawyer of Jalil Pathan, the second accused arrested in the case, said that all the information related to this incident has been received by the ATS in the last few days. Nanded Shivajinagar Latur and then the DySP investigation team has collected this information. When all this information has been given to the CBI, the police custody of the accused should not be extended again. This was the argument

After the arguments of both the sides, the court sent both the accused to CBI custody till 6th. For this, the CBI team was present in Latur court since morning. But the hearing started in the afternoon. The hearing ended at around five o'clock and now the CBI will investigate further in this case.
