NEET 2024 Dress Code and Instructions: The NEET exam is scheduled to be conducted on Sunday, May 5. National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the admit card (NEET 2024 Admit Card) for NEET UG i.e. National Eligibility cum Entrance Test. Candidates can download it through the official website Exams.nta.ac.in/NEET or neet.ntaonline.in. Candidates have to use the login credentials to download NEET admit card. NTA has also released the exam guidelines and dress code for NEET exam, which is very important to know for the students going to appear for NEET exam. Any student who does not follow NEET dress will be thrown out of the examination centre. The agency has issued separate NEET 2024 dress codes for boys and girls. To appear in NEET UG exam, boys will have to wear half sleeve shirt or T-shirt and slippers. It is mandatory for girls to say no to accessories and jewelery and wear light clothing as well as sandals and shoes with low heels. Girls are not allowed to wear kurti. It is completely prohibited for all the candidates going to appear in the NEET exam to carry any kind of electronic gadget to the examination centre.
Neat dress code for boys
All the boys going to appear in NEET exam are completely banned from wearing full sleeve shirts or T-shirts, kurta-pajama, electronic watches, heavy shoes, smart watches and heavy shoes. Boys can appear in the examination wearing half sleeve shirt or T-shirt, trousers and normal pants. Boys can wear simple pants or trousers with pockets along with light and simple clothes. However, they are not allowed to wear heavy clothing with zip pockets, large buttons, sequins or embroidery.
Neat dress code for girls
All girls going to appear for NEET exam should wear light clothes. Girls are not allowed to wear brooches, flowers, badges or jeans in the examination hall. Girls should not wear jewelery like earrings, rings, pendants, necklaces etc. in the examination hall. Girls can wear light colored denim pants and half sleeve t-shirt for NEET exam. Keep in mind that the button area of the shirt should not be too big. Female candidates are not allowed to wear kurti, leggings and palazzo for NEET exam.
Guidelines for NEET Exam
NEET is the most prestigious medical examination of the country, in which more than 23 lakh candidates are taking part this time. The examination will run from 2 pm to 5 pm. This time NEET UG 2024 exam is being conducted in 557 examination centers within the country and in 14 cities outside. All the candidates appearing in NEET exam will have to reach the examination center before the scheduled time, so that biometric verification of the candidates can be done.
