Meerut, August 10 (HS). Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh's propagator and editor of Rashtradev magazine Neeraj said that Goswami Tulsidas has repeatedly established Ram's mundane life in a supernatural form in Shri Ram Katha. Tulsi has established the ideal human element of Shri Ram as God. Tulsi's best example of human glory is found in Ram. The message given by Tulsi for human upliftment is meaningful for human progress even in the present times.

The birth anniversary of great poet Goswami Tulsidas was celebrated with great pomp on Saturday under the joint aegis of All India Sahitya Parishad Meerut Mahanagar and INTACH Meerut Chapter. A discussion and poetry symposium on the topic 'Tulsikrit Shri Ramcharit Manas: Current Relevance' was organized at Anand Ashram in Shraddhapuri Phase-1 under the chairmanship of former Assistant Sugarcane Commissioner of Uttarakhand Anand Johri. The program was inaugurated by the guests by garlanding Maa Saraswati and lighting a lamp.

The council's general secretary Dr. Sheelvardhan said that Goswami Tulsidas wrote a timeless creation in the form of Shri Ramcharitmanas, which gave humans the opportunity to be immersed in the devotion of Lord Shri Ram. Program president Anand Johri, calling Shri Ramcharitmanas a world heritage, said that Shri Ramcharitmanas is useful for everyone. In the organized kavi sammelan, poets recited beautiful poetry based on Shri Ramcharit. Poets Sanjay Sharma, Komal Rastogi, Sanjay Jain Satyam, Mukta Sharma, Ram Lakhan Patel Uttam recited compositions. Komal Rastogi conducted it. Rekha Johri, Harish Parashar, Manmohan Bhalla, Janardan Sharma, Dr. Deshraj Singh, etc. were present on this occasion.
