Bihar The results of the assembly elections have made it clear that the public has once again expressed confidence in the NDA. With a lead in more than 200 seats, the NDA alliance is heading towards a landslide victory, due to which there is tremendous enthusiasm among BJP and JDU workers. However, along with this spectacular victory, a big question has also arisen – who will become the next Chief Minister of Bihar? Although the election was fought under the leadership of Nitish Kumar, but now a statement from BJP has made the whole atmosphere interesting.

Why suspense on the name of Nitish Kumar?

During the election campaign, BJP leaders were clearly saying that if NDA wins then Nitish Kumar will become the Chief Minister. But now after the results are out, a statement by BJP General Secretary Vinod Tawde has created a stir in the political circles. He said, “We have fought the Bihar elections under the leadership of Nitish Kumar, but the final decision on who will become the Chief Minister will be taken by all the five parties of the alliance together.” This statement indicates that it is not certain for Nitish Kumar to become the Chief Minister for the 10th time and this can be discussed. Apart from BJP and JDU, the NDA alliance also includes Jitan Ram Manjhi’s party ‘Hum’, Upendra Kushwaha’s ‘RML’ and Chirag Paswan’s ‘LJP-R’.

NDA’s dominance in election results

NDA’s dominance: towards 200+ seats

According to the Election Commission’s data till 3:30 pm, a tsunami of NDA is being seen in Bihar. The position of the parties leading on the seats is as follows…

, BJP (Bharatiya Janata Party): Leading on 94 seats

, Nitish Kumar’s party (JDU): Leading on 84 seats

, RJD (Rashtriya Janata Dal): Leading on 25 seats

, Chirag Paswan’s party (LJP-R): Leading on 19 seats

, AIMIM: Leading on 6 seats

, HAM: Ahead on 5 seats

, Upendra Kushwaha’s party (RML): Leading on 4 seats

, Others: 6 seats ahead

In this election, BJP has given its best performance in Bihar. With a lead of 94 seats, BJP has broken its own old record. Earlier in the 2010 assembly elections, BJP had won 91 seats. Due to this excellent performance, BJP has come into the role of elder brother in the alliance and this is the reason why its claim for the post of Chief Minister can become stronger. Now it remains to be seen whether a consensus is reached on the name of Nitish Kumar in the alliance meeting or a new name comes forward.
