The Eknath Shinde government of Maharashtra on Monday approved the formation of 'Parshuram Economic Development Corporation' for the economically weaker section of the Brahmin community and 'Veer Shiromani Maharana Pratap Cultural Development Corporation' for the economically weaker section of the Rajput community. The cabinet has allocated Rs 50 crore each for both the corporations. Pune airport renamed
Pune Airport, formerly known as Lohegaon Airport, will now be known as Jagadguru Sant Tukaram Maharaj International Airport. The proposal to change the name of Pune Airport was presented by Pune's Minister of State for Civil Aviation Muralidhar Mohol. Union Minister Nitin Gadkari also supported the name change. Ajinkya Rahane has got land on lease
