NDA government has paved the way for progress-empowerment of the poor, farmers, youth and women: Nitin Gadkari

Addressing an election rally in support of BJP candidate and Union Minister Giriraj Singh from Begusarai Lok Sabha seat in Bihar, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari on Wednesday said that in the last 10 years under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the BJP-led NDA government has provided welfare to the poor and farmers. , has paved the way for progress and empowerment of all, including youth and women.

Gadkari said that the expected development of Bihar is becoming possible due to the construction of highways. Giving priority to development, I am confident that the people of Matihani will elect Giriraj Singh and make BJP-NDA victorious this time too. He said that the work which was not done in 60 years under the Congress-RJD government in Bihar, we have done during the ten years of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's rule. A network of National Highways has been laid in Bihar in ten years. Long bridges have been constructed on many rivers including River Ganga.

Gadkari said that good roads, electricity and telecommunication increase employment and industry. Unemployment, hunger and poverty also go away. He said that his colleague at the Center Giriraj Singh, through his department, worked to connect many villages with strong roads. A network of roads has been laid in the entire rural areas of Bihar including Begusarai, which is the contribution of Giriraj Singh's ministry.

Gadkari said that the country is changing. In the area I come from, 10 thousand farmers committed suicide. In the year 2004, farmers did not get the price of their crops. I got a chance to go to Brazil with the then Petroleum Minister Ram Naik. After returning from there, we made a plan that our farmer will make ethanol. 380 kilowatt electricity is being produced from sugarcane mills. Our farmer has not become a food provider but has now become an energy provider. In the coming five years, under our government, farmers of the entire country will become not only food providers but also energy providers.
