NDA allies will give Modi a hard time for 'good accounting'

New Delhi: NDA has got majority in the Lok Sabha elections, so now NDA government is going to be formed at the center for the third time in a row. Keeping this in mind, a meeting of the leaders of all the parties included in NDA was held in Delhi under the leadership of Narendra Modi. Nitish Kumar, Chandrababu Naidu were also present in this meeting. In this meeting, it was discussed that which party will get how many ministerial posts in the new government. There are reports that TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu has demanded the post of Lok Sabha Speaker while JDU chief Nitish Kumar has demanded the post of Deputy Prime Minister. Both these leaders can give a tough time to Narendra Modi who is going to form a coalition government for the first time in his political career.

Narendra Modi met President Draupadi Murmu before the NDA meeting and resigned from the post of Prime Minister, he will hold the post of acting Prime Minister until he is sworn in as the new Prime Minister again. Before resigning, Modi called the last cabinet meeting of the current government, in which he discussed the election results. In the meeting, Modi said that victory and defeat are part of politics, the number game continues. After the recommendation of the cabinet, the President has dissolved the 17th Lok Sabha. Now Modi can take oath as Prime Minister by June 8. Narendra Modi has got the support of 24 parties of NDA.

After resigning, Narendra Modi called a meeting of the NDA, in which leaders including Nitish Kumar, Chandrababu Naidu, Chirag Paswan, Pawan Kalyan, HD Kumaraswamy were present. BJP's allies extended their support and Narendra Modi was appointed the leader of the NDA. Meanwhile, a resolution was also passed in support of Narendra Modi. It said that we all fought and won the elections under the leadership of Narendra Modi, we have seen the development of the country in 10 years, we have faith in Modi's leadership. A total of 24 NDA leaders including BJP President JP Nadda, Amit Shah, Rajnath Singh signed this proposal and appointed Modi as the leader. Now this proposal will be sent to the President to form the government and later ministers including Modi will take oath in the new government.

However, it will not be seen that BJP has run the government at the center alone for 10 years in this term. After BJP, which is part of NDA, two major parties, Nitish Kumar of JD (U) and Chandrababu Naidu of TDP, who recently won in Jharkhand, are demanding key posts in the new central government. There are reports that Nitish Kumar has demanded the post of Deputy Prime Minister for himself and four to five ministerial posts in the cabinet for his MPs. This includes four cabinet and one minister of state. At the same time, Chandrababu Naidu has demanded the post of Speaker in the Lok Sabha. Both Deputy Prime Minister and Lok Sabha Speaker are considered big posts. There is a demand to include them in this government and Lok Sabha. However, no official announcement has been made in this regard.

Demand to give special state status to Bihar and Jharkhand

Bihar Chief Minister and Nitish Kumar's party JD (U), which is supporting the government at the center, has demanded that Bihar be given the status of a special state. JD (U) spokesperson and senior leader KC Tyagi had earlier said that we will give NDA status without any condition, we support it but in the interest of the people of Bihar, Bihar should be given the status of a special state. Without which the development of the state is not possible. After getting the status of a special state, Bihar can get more funds from the center. At the same time, Chandrababu Naidu can also demand special state status for Andhra Pradesh. Along with this, he can demand funds for the development of Andhra's capital Amaravati.
