New Delhi, October 2 (HS). The issue of NCP election symbol has once again reached the Supreme Court. NCP Sharad Pawar faction has filed a petition in the Supreme Court demanding to ban Ajit Pawar faction from using the clock election symbol in the upcoming assembly elections.

The petition filed in the Supreme Court said that Ajit Pawar faction should be given a new symbol for the assembly elections because during the Lok Sabha elections, Ajit had contested on the 'clock' symbol, which created confusion among the voters and they found it difficult to understand. Who is the real NCP? The already pending petition of Sharad Pawar group is to be heard on October 15.

Let us tell you that on March 19, the Supreme Court had given permission to Ajit Pawar faction to use the clock election symbol while Sharad Pawar faction had given permission to use the name of NCP-Sharad Chandra Pawar and the election symbol of a man blowing a trumpet.
