Varanasi, 03 August (HS). NCC cadets were recruited on Saturday in DAV Inter College campus located in Ausanganj. More than 200 participating students participated for selection in 89 UP Battalion of NCC. In which cadets were recruited in both boys and girls cadre in NCC Junior category and NCC Senior category. The acting principal of the college Arun Kumar said that under the recruitment process, first a written examination of the participants was taken and then a race was conducted for physical efficiency.
The recruitment process of all the cadets was conducted under the supervision of Colonel P.K. Singh, Lieutenant Colonel Ravindra Singh, Subedar Major Digambar Singh of 89 UP Battalion. During this, Subedar Vinod Kumar, Naib Subedar Ram Lakhan, CHN Abbu Talib, Havildar Saurabh Thakur, former First Officer of NCC Department of DAV Inter College Narendra Kumar Singh, Lieutenant Mohammad Shahid were present.
