Chandigarh, June 9 (HS). Haryana Chief Minister Naib Singh announced that an amount of Rs 100 crore will be released for the renovation and improvement of all the Dharamshalas of Scheduled Castes and Backward Classes established in the state. He said that during his tenure, former Chief Minister Manohar Lal has worked to eliminate the backlog of Scheduled Castes in government jobs and if there is any shortcoming left, it will be completed soon.
The Chief Minister was addressing the representatives of various organisations of the Scheduled Caste community who had come to greet him on Sunday. On this occasion, as soon as the people of the Scheduled Caste community welcomed the Chief Minister wearing turbans, the entire pandal echoed with slogans of Zindabad. Naib Singh said that if any person has any problem or trouble, he can come to Sant Kabir Kutir at any time and tell his problem. Action will be taken with immediate effect to solve their problem. No injustice will be allowed to happen to anyone.
He said that Bharat Ratna Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar's thinking was to strengthen the poorest of the poor and protect their rights. Similarly, Mahatma Jyotiba Phule devoted his entire life to the upliftment of the poor. If these two great men were not there, the poor would not have got their rights. He said that the Haryana government will develop Guru Ravidas' Dham in Kurukshetra. His teachings will be propagated here and the coming generations will be able to benefit from it. The Chief Minister said that in the last 10 years our cultural heritage has progressed strongly and work has been done to strongly take forward even the person standing in the last row in the country. In the Lok Sabha elections, the Congress Party and the alliance did propaganda about the Constitution and reservation. Baba Bhimrao Ambedkar gave the sacred Constitution to India and today our country is running according to this Constitution. He said that those people who never respected the Constitution used to do propaganda by showing the sacred Constitution on the stage. He said that during the time of Jawaharlal Nehru, Baba Saheb had said that Article 370 should not be included in the Constitution. Doing this is a blatant insult to the Constitution.
Earlier, Rajya Sabha MP Krishna Pawar said that in the recent Lok Sabha elections, the Congress party misled the people of the Scheduled Caste community. He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi and former Chief Minister Manohar Lal honoured all saints, great men and gurus.
