Navratri Kalashsthapana: Chaitri Navratri is going to start from Tuesday, April 9. Chaitri Navratri starts from Pratipada of Chaitra month. In which this year Chaitri Navratri is going to coincide with many auspicious yogas and four Rajyoga. Also, on this day there will be an auspicious combination of both Siddhi Yoga and Sarvartha Siddhi Yoga. However, some Panchaks also occur on this day. In such a situation, when and at what time would it be auspicious to establish the Kalash on the first day of Chaitra Navratri.

This will be the best time for establishing the Kalash.

Chaitra Navratri, the auspicious time of establishing Kalash Panchak will continue till 7:32 am on Tuesday, April 9. Only after this, establishing the Kalash will be considered auspicious. Therefore, do not install the Kalash before this. After this, there will be four inauspicious hours till 9.11 pm. Therefore, do not install the Kalash even by mistake at this time. Then the auspicious time is from 9.12 to 10.47. But 11:57 am to 12:48 am would be best for establishing the Kalash. This time is called Abhijeet Muhurta. Therefore, establishing the Kalash in this auspicious time is considered auspicious.

Keep these things in mind while installing the Kalash

According to the scriptures, a Kalash made of gold, silver, copper or clay should always be used in establishing the Kalash. Do not use Kalash made of iron or steel in worship.

While installing the Kalash, take special care of the direction i.e. the Kalash should be installed in the North or East direction.

– Before installation, clean the Kalash thoroughly and install it by sprinkling Ganga water on it.

– If at the time of installing the Kalash, materials like betel nut, coin, Sapta Mithika, honey, Ganga water, Panch Pallava, Pipla leaves, Googol etc. are not available, then mango leaves can also be kept in the Kalash.

Apart from this, for setting up the Kalash, wrap the coconut in a red cloth and install it on the Kalash.

– Apply Swastika in the Kalash with vermilion. Place paddy or rice in an earthen pot on top of the Kalash and place a coconut on top of it. Sow barley on the altar after the puja.
