MILAN-2024: For the first time, the Indian Navy is going to conduct naval exercises with 50 countries from 19 to 27 February. This large-scale exercise 'Milan-24' will involve a fleet of 18 warships and aircraft which will conduct military exercises at sea and port. The objective of this exercise is to protect the naval interests of the country. This military exercise will mark the beginning of a new era.

Indian Navy Chief Admiral R. Hari Kumar said 58 countries have been invited for the largest ever naval exercise, out of which 50 have confirmed their participation. The 12th edition of Milan-24, a nine-day military exercise starting on Monday, will practically tighten strategies in the Indo-Pacific region and test how to keep the seas safe and free.

Eastern Naval Command welcomed Corvette-20 of the Vietnamese Navy and USS Halsey (DDG-97) of the US Navy deployed at Ax. Warships of both the countries have reached Visakhapatnam. Milan will prove to be a good platform to increase security in the deep sea.
