The whole world is watching the situation created due to heavy rains in countries like Dubai and Oman. Such unseasonal and stormy rains are an alarm bell not only for the Middle East but for the entire world. 254 mm of rain in 24 hours and countless snow storms show to what extent man has tampered with nature, the consequences of which are now becoming visible. However, 'cloud seeding' is also being held responsible for such a situation. This could also be a case of sea level rise.
Scientists of 'National Aeronautics and Space Administration' i.e. NASA and other experts have been warning for the last several years that as per the calculations of more than 800 crore people of this world, the solid waste being discharged into rivers and drains will eventually fall into the sea. So it is natural for its level to increase. It is a geographical and scientific fact that all the oceans of the world are interconnected due to which the water level remains the same everywhere. If this level increases, then many other cities and populations of the world, including Vancouver, the beautiful coastal city of British Columbia province of Canada and some cities located on the coasts of India, will start submerging in water. Now the scary scenes of Dubai that everyone has seen are alarm bells for the coastal cities. This is the result of global warming. According to NASA scientists, sea water levels on Earth have risen at a rate of 3.6 mm from 2006 to 2015. This level also increases due to the rapid melting of ice glaciers at the North and South Poles due to high global warming. It is a scientific fact that if all the ice present on the mountains and poles melts, the water level in the sea will rise by about 230 feet, destroying not only the coastal cities but also many other cities, towns and villages in the world. to drown . This can only be called a flood situation. According to a scientific paper of the year 2023, one-fourth of the mountain glaciers will melt at a temperature of 1.5 degrees Celsius.
Such a situation would certainly be disastrous for the Earth and its inhabitants. Rising sea levels will lead to rapid erosion of coastlines, which will prove fatal for coastal populations. Such a situation can lead to permanent flooding in low-lying areas and create many problems for the common people. This will also adversely affect the water sources of fish, birds and plants. According to the 2022 report of the National Ocean Service, sea level will rise by two feet between 2020 and 2100, i.e. in 80 years. Man will have to take measures to avoid such situations from now on.
