Bhagalpur, 23 August (HS). National Space Day was celebrated on Friday in the postgraduate physics department of Tilkamanjhi Bhagalpur University. In which the success of Chandrayaan-3 was discussed in detail.
Department Head Dr Kamal Prasad said that the celebration of National Space Day is a celebration of India's progress in space research and technology. The success of Chandrayaan-3 not only established India as a major player in the global space competition, but its success also symbolizes the dedication and hard work of ISRO scientists and engineers”.
Science Dean Dr Jagdhar Mandal said that the celebration of National Space Day reflects India's progress in space exploration and technology and with the completion of Chandrayaan Mission, India became the fourth country to successfully land on the moon. Along with this, it became the first country to land near the South Polar region.
On this occasion, speech competition and poster competition were organized. In speech competition, Shivanshu won first prize, Nitish won second prize and Om Pravesh won third prize. In poster competition, Sameeksha won first prize, Badal won second prize and Afroz won third prize. Ankit Kumar presented the model of Chandrayaan. The stage was conducted by Sushil Kumar. Nirjar Vrinda, Maria Jahan, Ram Kumar, Pushpraj Harsh, Ujjwal Prasad, Himanshi Kumari, Roma Kumari and other students were present in this program.
