New Delhi, 04 November (HS). The discussion on the condition and direction of water resources is going to begin in the 'National River Confluence-2024' some time from today at the Bharat Mandapam of Pragati Maidan in the national capital Delhi. It is jointly organized by Indian Rivers Council, JP Mathur Charitable Trust and GIZ. Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah will reach here at 10 am and address the experts and scholars taking part in the discussion.

He said that this program will start at 10 am in the dignified presence of Home Minister Amit Shah. Shah will guide all the scholars. Swami Chidanand, President of Parmarth Niketan Rishikesh and Chinmay Pandya, Pro Vice Chancellor of Dev Sanskriti University have also been invited to this program.
Umashankar Pandey, convenor of Jakhani Jalgram, who has been awarded the country's first Jalyodha Award, has expressed hope that there will be a meaningful discussion in the 'National River Confluence'. Under the guidance of Home Minister Shah, scholars will think deeply on the methods and measures to avoid water crisis and decide the strategy to save the dying rivers and endangered water sources. Umashankar Pandey said that positive work has started in this direction since 2014.
