National Health Mission workers went on indefinite strike in support of their five point demands

Saharsa, 9 July (HS). All the workers working under the National Health Mission went on an indefinite strike on Tuesday with their five-point demand. FRAAS is being opposed by all the NHM workers posted in the district from the district hospital to the health sub-center. Equal attendance is being demanded for all.

On this occasion, ANM Rupam Kumari, CHO Dinesh Kumar, GNM Shahrukh Khan, FPC Santosh Kumar Verma said that the five-point demands include implementing a uniform attendance system for all health workers and doctors, regularizing all NHM workers and implementing pay scale system for all posts, providing residential facilities, mobile network facilities, electricity and security arrangements to all low-honorarium workers, providing account facilities to all workers in nationalized government banks so as to be free from the arbitrary attitude of private banks and implementing a system for paying the pending salary up to date to all workers from March 2024.

On this occasion a large number of ANMs and health workers including Kajal Kumari, Santana Kumari, Baby Kumari, Aarti Kumari, Naman Kumari, Pratima Kumari, Ritu Raj, Ankita Sharma were present.
