National Children’s Award given to 17 children, honored in the field of art and culture

On 26 December 2024, President Draupadi Murmu honored 17 children from 14 states and union territories with the Prime Minister’s National Child Award. Let us tell you that this award is given to recognize and honor the extraordinary achievements of children.

This program was organized on the occasion of Veer Bal Diwas. Veer Bal Diwas is specially celebrated to highlight the potential of Indian children and their achievements. President Draupadi Murmu honored 17 children from 14 states and union territories in various categories including art and culture, bravery, innovation, science and technology, social service, sports and environment. These awards are given for the remarkable works and achievements of children.

President Murmu honored the award winners for their unique performance in their field. This time out of total 17 award winners, 7 are boys and 10 are girls. These children have excelled in their fields with their hard work and dedication.

Jignesh Vyas of Ahmedabad received the award

Om Jignesh Vyas from Ahmedabad, Gujarat has also been awarded the Prime Minister’s National Child Award in this category. Jignesh Vyas, who received this award in the field of art and culture, is a disabled person. Jignesh Vyas recited 2000 Sanskrit verses. It also includes Sunderkand and Geeta Shloka. Prime Minister Modi has also praised Om Jignesh Vyas. President Draupadi Murmu presented the award at Bharat Mandapam in Delhi today.
